Events - are one of Xanadu’s favorite photo sessions where we travel out of the studio to capture a person or family engaging in something they are passionate about. No studio, no posing, just capture the memorable moments that will last a lifetime.
Family portrait poses help reflect the emotional bond, closeness, and character of the family. These go beyond the classical studio poses.
Portrait photography or portraiture is the capture by means of photography of the likeness of a person or small group of people (a group portrait), in which the face and expression is predominate. The objective is to display the likeness, personality, and even the mood of the subject. Like other types of portraiture, the focus of the photograph is the person’s face, although the entire body and the background may be included.  A portrait is generally not a snapshot, but a composed image of a person in a still position. A portrait often shows a person looking directly at the camera. Fashion photography is a genre of photography devoted to displaying clothing and other fashion items.  Over time, fashion photography has developed it own aesthetic in which the clothes and fashions are enhanced by exotic locations and story lines or could be having great models with different vehicles or animals just to be an eye catching effect. (Wikipedia)
Glamour photography is a genre of photography whereby the subjects, usually female, are portrayed in a romantic or sexually alluring way. The subjects may be fully clothed or seminude, but glamour photography stops short of deliberately arousing the viewer and instead portrays the model as the focus of adoration. (Wikipedia)
A boudoir is a lady’s private bedroom, sitting room or dressing room. The term derives from the French verb bouder, meaning to pout”. A great deal of “boudoir” is now created in the photographer’s studio, where it has become very fashionable to create a set of sensual images for ladies of all ages, shapes, and sizes in the “boudoir style”. This often takes the shape of partly clothed images or images in lingerie. (Wikipedia)
